Earlier this month I spent an afternoon as a docent for the Los Angeles Historic Theatre Foundation's "All About the Wiltern Theatre" tour. It was a fantastic event that I am proud to have been a part of. Both before and after the tour I had time to photograph some old haunts as well as some new discoveries.

what fantastic purple hues, amazing
makes me a bit wary of taking expired slide film to special places though ?!
what was the make of film ?
I knew there was a chance it was going to be bad, it was Kodak Elitechrome of a curious provenance... I have film restoration software that I can use on these to make them nice again, luckily. I didn't mind it happening on this day in particular, and I'd never had such a severe expired film reaction so it was actually quite neat.
